Hello everyone,
I just bought a new monitor : ASUS MG278Q (1440p, 27", 144Hz). But for some reason, when I plug the DP cable, the options I get are : 59, 60, 100, 119 and 120Hz.
Using a DVI cable, I get 59 or 60 Hz.
What should I do to get 144 Hz?

Solution
It would appear that the pixel clock on the GTX 760's displayport is a bit too slow to reach 144Hz. 1440p @ 144Hz requires a pixel clock of 586 MHz (bandwidth of the graphics card. Looks like the GTX 760 is limited to a pixel clock of 523 MHz. 120Hz is probably the best you are going to do. The difference between 120Hz and 144Hz is minute, at most.

Here's a reddit link.

Now that new cards are coming out, maybe consider saving up for a used 290/290/390 or pick up the RX 480 at $199 when it comes out to take advantage of 144Hz and Freesync.
