MY sapphirea hd 7950 dual x driver crashes(very rare) even in its boost mode of 925mhz on core and 1250mhz on memory , If i increase my power slider to 10% then its normal in every game.if power slider is upto 20% card stays stable at (970/1300).It crashes even at 975 on core.I tried flashing many bios but no change.i tried increasing tdp to 200w from default 163w in bios but its of no use again it crashes :( .My MSI after burner is not allowing to change core voltage..........I tried r9 280 bios too.....but it crashes at same clocks..........I need help in overclocking my card.

MY Rig:
i3 4150 3.5 ghz
corsair vs 550w PSU(NEW)
1 TB HDD
GIGABYTE H81m-s Motherboard
sapphire HD 7950 dualx gpu

1. Every card is different, and will get different results when overclocking. Just because someone else got the card over 1 GHz doesn't mean you can/will.
2. If you can't change the voltage then it's likely locked. Without modifying the vBIOS you can't change it. Refer here for more info on modding your vBIOS: http://www.overclock.net/t/1395490/ati-hd-7950-7970-bios-mod-thread
3. Don't use a vBIOS from a different card. That's just asking for an expensive paperweight.

But my card goes only upto 1.081 volt (VDCC) in GPUZ.........does it have anything to do with it!!!!?

That's a slightly above normal voltage for that card actually. It was probably set to that by the manufacturer when they did the factory overclock.
Hit the render test on the first page in GPU-Z and then check the voltage. My R9 only goes up to 1.16 volts under load.

But,i read on forums ,that this card can go upto 1.2v with(1100/1500)............,I read some people got to 1200 on core

They probably had unlocked cards. Also, make sure you put some load on the card to check your actual max voltage. The render test I mentioned is useful for that. It's the "?" next to bus speed.

What exactly should i see there!!?

When you click the "?" and click start render test, it will open a window with a small 3D render that will put a small load on the card. With that still open check the sensors and that will show you the load voltage.

Its showing 1.038v constant and peaked to 1.044v for fraction of a second..........but while playing witcher3 it stayed sometime at 1.068v(for few seconds)

That's normal for your card. The 1.2 volts the people in that forum got were from increasing the voltage.
I maintain that your best bet for overclocking your most likely voltage locked card is modifying your own vBIOS.
Don't expect to get the exact same results as other people. Every card is different, even as much as 200 MHz potential.

If you give me your PCI ID I can see if I can find your vBIOS or an updated one. You can find it in: Device Manager > Display Adapters, right click, properties, > Details > Hardware IDs, it's the entire first line.

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_679A&SUBSYS_E249174B&REV_00
its first line present in hardware id's

I ran the test and.............voltage fluctuated between 1.05 ans 1.044 and finally stabilised at 1.044v.......is there a way of getting it to 1.1-1.2v!!!!!!?

Hey....... I installed a older version of sapphire trixx(4.6.0) and it unlocked voltage control now i can go around 1100/1500 at 1.23v :) wierd thing is.... gpuz shows that.........its using only around 1.12v but if i decrease my voltage to 1.15v intixx it crashes even at 1000/1400 ...... o_O ///anyway........ I oc'd my card :)
