Does this build look like it'll work?

Alright so this is going to be my first build and I just want to make sure that everything is compatible, and also just some opinions on how the pc would run once it's all put together.

So here's my part list, keep in mind I'm trying to build as cheap as possible while still attempting to get decent fps on medium-high settings.

I guess my main concerns are, will everything that has to connect to the motherboard be compatible? And how well do you think it'll run?

And, yes I already know the power supply is terrible, I'm planning on upgrading it a little while after the PC is built.

Far better PC.

I would, at the very least, swap the HDD for a Caviar Blue (the one you have picked is designed for RAID applications), and a better quality PSU (Antec VP 450). The RX 480 will be out in a couple of weeks and is said to be around the same price as the GTX 960 with the performance similar to the R9 390X.

Problem with that is that's US prices, in CAD that's much much more expensive and unfortunately my budget is stuck at around 800$ CAD. Thanks for the help tho

Actually I'll look into the 480, and from the list you provided looks like it'd save me a little bit of money, still have to look at shipping fees tho. And the list you provided should run better than the 4460 build I had set out correct?

Aight. Also for the list that you sent before, wouldn't it be better to have a 1td drive alongside with that ssd? not just the ssd alone?

I'll probably just go with a 1TB drive for now. Thank you for all your help and especially for bringing the 480 to my attention. For the price it's going to cost it seems to be really worth the wait.
