Open Box purchase from newegg?

So, I found a BlackWidow X Chroma keyboard on newegg but it's open box. I've wanted the keyboard for awhile now and I don't really mind spending the full 170 USD on it, but obviously, the open box is alot cheaper, listed at 127 USD. So I was wondering if any of you guys have purchased an open box from Newegg. I wanted to know if it's worth it, and if not i'll just order the regular one.

I have and didn't have any problems at all with mine.
Wasn't a keyboard though. But that is a good discount for open box, a lot of places only take a little bit off the price.

Check the reviews for the non-Open Box item. If there are a lot of complaints, it's more likely that the return was actually broken but they didn't detect it. Open box on well-reviewed items has always been safe for me.
