Hi -

So I just finished my first build (hurray!) and installed windows 10. Every 5 minutes or so, my computer freezes, real bad. Nothing is responsive, and the only way to get it back to normal is to turn the PSU on and off. What should I do?

SPECS:
i5 6500
16 gb (2 x 8gb) pny anarchy ram
EVGA Z170 Stinger
Crucial BX 200
Hadron Air PSU
No gpu yet, waiting for the 1070 FTW

Thanks,

AJ

Open Event Viewer and check the logs. Take your time and do not get overwhelmed with all of drop-downs and folders.

Search about and just look; will not take you too long to get oriented and be able to narrow your search.

Look for error codes and warnings that occur just before the freeze or at the time of the freeze.

Google any error codes or warnings for more information. Post accordingly.
