Hi can you share your gaming settings on asus vx238h monitor?. Im playing mostly on ps4 so if you play on the ps4 with this monitor to. Please share those settings to. Hope you can help.

what do you mean by settings? just connect the HDMI and turn on the console. if you would have any problem with adjustment monitor will automatically detect it and will fix it.
i play ps4 with mx279h and i don't have any problem.
just be sure to set the screen edges in the ps4 settings:
Display Area Settings. To set the display area of the game screen to match the monitor screen, select (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Display Area Settings].
this would fix some display problems in some games

ixeopn i mean. What brightness is the best for this monitor. Trace free, contrast, color temp, what splendid mode i should have when playing ps4.

brightness on 100%
trace free OFF (cause dynamic contrast and will cause low quality picture) in your case with 1ms response time, you don't even need such thing!
contrast 80%
Standard splendid mode (other modes will change the different factors)

or just put it in Game or theater mode to have a fake but stunning image quality (other modes are not recommended due to their changes in contrast that will cause blindness in some dark areas in games)

Idk whats the problem byt i get so much Frame rate drops when playing ps4 on this monitor. Is there any fix to this?

PS4 works different than a PC ,it has fixed hardware and game graphical settings cannot be changed, unfortunately in some games like GTA V sometimes it gets frame rate drops, you have some choices:
1-check the update for the PS4 operating system
2-check the updates for the game you have this problem in.

its not that have you heard soap opera effect in tvs ?. Ye its kinda like that. It feels like im playing with 20 fps on.
