Can I connect my PS3 controller to PC without cable?

yes, you can connect without wires
get a usb bluetooth adapter if your motherboard doesnt have bluetooth support.

yes you can connect with wires
standard usb to mini usb cable

you will need drivers. motioninjoy normally always works but is buggy. i've had poor luck with better ds3 and scarlet.crush which while they appear to work, bug out in some games.
