Type is almost unreadable on certain websites

Hi,

I have an issue with not being able to read type on certain websites, on some sites such as google, this site, Facebook and others the type is fine however some websites display a font that is too thin and almost unreadable. I've googled this problem a ton and haven't found a solution.
The problem applies to all browsers including Firefox, Internet Explorer and my main browser; Chrome.

have you tried zoom? Yes, you need to set it on every browser but its only way I can read some web sites on a 4k screen

you can set a default zoom level for each web site individually or a default for all of chrome (Go to the Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Web Content > page zoom.)

Just tried the zoom solution but had to zoom into about 250% for the text to look readable
