Microphone won't work on windows 10

Hello,

So I built my pc recently and I got an asrock h97 anniversary motherboard. I went on skype to call someone to realise that my mic wasn't working. It works on another computer but not this one. I think I need to install a driver for it. If it is could you tell me which one I need?

As I understand the link, I would go with the first choice via the applicable continent/country.

That said, the first thing I would do is click speaker icon (lower right screen) and go into Recording Devices. Just to make sure that my microphone was listed, selected, and correctly configured. Could be some incorrect setting/configuration. Test and troubleshoot as best as you can.

Then, if not listed, install the driver per Asrock's installation guide.
