hi all
my gpu has dvi i dual link and mini Displayport, my new monitor will come with dvi dual link.
should i use something like dp to dvi or dvi dvi for 1080p 144hz gaming?
thanks!
Thank you Chris, i just did it, and works great.
But switching from 32 inch tv..27 inch monitor looks so small to me.. however its super smooth
well , that is to be expected, 32'' is quite bigger panel than 27'' you will get used to it though dont worry.! butter thats what it is... awesome !!!! i really like my 120hz benq. if i will switch to a better panel someday it will also be 120hz at least! enjoy!
So do you think i ll get used to it? Its just the first day and atm i think of going back to 32 inch 60h lol
Should i wait a few days before i make the decision?

yes. is that 32'' TV1080p? if it isnt at 720p the difference is even bigger obviously. keep in mind though that 1080p for 27'' is actually considered as low res. at 24'' and 1080p things would look even smaller which is the standard in these days. it is a matter of ppi (pixels per inch) as monitors have a greater number than tv due to smaller size.
Makes sense, Tv was 720p (mainly used for console but i ll get rid of the console) so 1080p is great for me but couldnt get used to size, however i ll wait few days.
If i jump back to 32 inxh i may concider 1440p@60hz, how is 1440p on 32?
Thank you
Appreciate your help!
I ll just give my self a few days to see how it goes if not 1440p on 32 shouldnt be terrible.
I just picked 144hz 27 bc i play fps, so i ll check how much it ll effect my gameplay
you're welcome! there are also other things to consider swithing to higher res. at 1440p games can become really demanding so make sure your hardware is up to the task.
