I'm trying to install the drivers for my Sentey Symph headset so I can listen in 7.1 instead of 2.0. However, when I try to install the drivers it asks me to plug in the headset. I wen to device manager, devices and printers, and sound to see if they detected my headset, which they did. I can even use them, but the driver installer still won't detect them. HELP!?

Thanks, but I think the reason it is not detecting the headset is because it connects via usb not 3.5mm. It doesn't really matter because all the drivers do is enable 7.1 audio. I was considering buying a new pair of headphones anyway because mine are wearing out physically. Thanks for the help

I have a gigabyte z170x gaming 6 that has an integrated card and the top usb ports are 2.0 and have DAC. I also downloaded realtek drivers and sound blaster X-fi MB3, but when I open them they will only recognize sound output from non-usb port connectors such as the optical port and rear/front mic and speaker ports
