Second monitor - VGA/display port on GPU or HDMI on Mobo?

Hey,

I've got a GTX 750ti GPU which has a Display Port and one mini-HDMI port. I have connected my main monitor to the mini-HDMI port but the second one should I connect via a VGA to Display port cable to the GPU or via standard HDMI to the motherboard and the onboard intel graphics?

I know it's better to have both on the GPU but just wondering if the VGA to Displayport will be better than HDMI to mobo

Thanks

Solution
Most motherboard's BIOS (except some newer ones) don't support using both integrated & PCIe GPUs at the same time. Once the PCIe GPU is detected, the integrated GPU is disabled to avoid a resources/driver conflict

So check your BIOS options to see if using both GPUs simultaneously is supported.
If it isn't, you must connect both monitors to the PCIe GPU.
