Good monitor for gtx 980

I'm looking for a good monitor no more than 150 dollars and will allow me to get more than 60 fps and also which resolution would be good for the gtx 980?

I would suggest a 1440p monitor for a gtx 980, but you won't get one for that price.

Or a 144hz one. resolution should be 2560x1440p. But you need around 250$ for a 1080p with 144hz (with or without gsync) and the price goes considerably higher for a 1440p.

A 1080p/144hz would take better advantage of the power of a 1080. In games like these, the 144hz makes a big difference. Especially if you are into competitive gaming. Add gsyng into the mix and you are in for a very smooth experience on first person titles and games like gta.

For me personally a 1440p would be a better solution but i am not into that types of games also i really appreciate the better picture that comes with the higher resolution.
