The nvidia equivalent to the R9 280X Toxic 3GB

As the title suggests, I'm looking for the Nvidia equivalent to the R9 280X Toxic 3GB, A friend suggested the GTX 960 2GB but it's really under performing compared to the toxic. Any suggestions?

RX 470 or RX480 @ $150 or $200/$229 on June 29th
Anything less and you are wasting your money for less performance

Also why are you insisting on Nvidia? I currently own a GTX 770 and going to RX480 cause its going to be a good deal. AMD will have the lead in the mainstream while Nvidia has the lead in the high performance 1070/1080.

I see, So there's no middle ground in Nvidia that equalize the Toxic, Thanks for the clarification.

Looks like the equivalent is my GTX 770! I will sell to you for $100 if you like
