Can't find new Wifi network but other devices can

My house is currently changing from one ISP to another, and we've just installed the new network, with its own WiFi modem. However, my laptop cannot find the new network at all, while other devices are able to. My phone can find it just fine, even when right next to the laptop. My network adapter driver is up to date, and every solution I've tried so far has not worked.

It can see other networks, and I've been using WiFi on the old network for at least a couple of months since the update to Windows 10. Any solutions?

is your new device support and have enabled both 2.4 and 5 ghz freq.?

does your laptop support 5ghz?

older device will only support 2.4ghz freq so if the router is running dual freq older wifi devices will not work.

Yes, the new modem is running dual frequency. I don't know to check if my laptop supports 5 GHz. How do I check that, and what's the best way to fix that?
