PC displayed resolution is different than TV displayed resolution.

I have 2 28" 4k monitors and a 50" 4k Samsung TV connected to my computer. I have Fury Xs in Crossfire, so I do not have an HDMI 2.0 out. I purchased a VLINK DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 active adapter which is supposed to allow me to get 4k @ 60Hz on the TV... However, the anomaly comes when looking at the source information on my TV. My TV is telling me that HDMI1 slot is at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, while my computer is telling me the TV is at 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz. Is this due to a faulty active adapter?

what HDMI version cable are you using look over the charts
