Ok I’ll try to make this short; I just made a new build and am new to OC on a PC. So I figured I would use the way optimization to start off. I am using a i7 6850k so I wasn’t expecting a high over clock from what I read the only thing I did in bios before running the 5 way was to turn on XMP. After loading it up and starting, it started increasing my processors speed. At is passed 4.6 I was excited but it kept going right up to 5.4 before I got scared and stopped it. It never got above 75 degrees or 1.4 volts according to the program. I reloaded back to default Bios for now. Did something go wrong or did I just get lucky with the chip?
Build: Asus Deluxe 2 board, i7 6850K, G skill 32gb 32 Ghz, H100i water cooler, EVGA 980Ti FTW GPU, EVGA 1200 PS PSU, Corsair C70 case.

SO I could just let the 5 way program run its course? I don't relay want to run it that high I would be happy with 4.3 or so. I read on some other posts that the program didn't really run the 6850K that high so I figured their may be an issue with the OC program.
