Left sound channel stopped working.

I was playing Payday 2 the other day when in midgame the left sound channel just stopped, I thought at first my headset died so I hooked up some speakers on the optical channel, same problem, went through all the cables, changed speakers, everything is ok, but no sound on left channel.
Had Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite pro installed, took that out, used the onboard sound (realtek) but no luck, weird thing is that my graphic cards sound works on both channels.
Checked if it was the slider for left and right, but it's in the middle, tried to turn it over to the left channel but then there is no sound.

I have no idea of what is wrong.

tried restarting PC?

tried the Playing Audio troubleshooter?
search cortana for troubleshoot
choose control panel option
in next windows, choose view all from top of left column
choose Playing Audio or the Hardware & Devices troubleshooter

if it asks for a restart, do it and then rerun test again. Keep running till its stopped finding changes.

Just noticed that when I checked my cables I aparently didn't saw my left speakers wire wasn't plugged in... I made a stupid sorry, headset is dead... RIP
