Hey Guys, I'm wanting to make the move from AMD over to intel. As far as I'm aware, all I'd need to do it switch out my motherboard and CPU?

I was thinking maybe getting an i5 3570k and either an ASrock z77 extreme4, or an Asus p8z77-v (not sure what variant would be better, any advice would be appreciated).

Just wanting some advice as I've never had intel components and just wanting something reliable and can hold it's own with new games.

Again, any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you. :)

CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 640 3GHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte 970a-ud3
GPU - Radeon R9 290
RAM - 8GB
PSU - Corsair CX750

I'll be upgrading my case too as it's just too small for my liking.

Definitely time for an update.

If you are playing graphics intensive games like BF4 you might get all the performance you need with an FX 8320 and an aftermarket cooler to let you overclock.
Definitely your cheapest option

I was considering just upgrading to a newer AMD CPU but I really like the fact intel has integrated graphics. As for a cooler, I have an arctic cooler 7 cpu cooler.
