Windows 10 laptop problem please help!!!!!!!!!

Hey, so my friend got a laptop and today he bought a harddisk for it. He installs windows 10 on it.

But there are no drivers for his laptop for windows 10 so he installed windows 8.1 drivers and now he is getting low fps in games. Is this why he is getting low fps?

Don't think having a 8.1 Windows installed is the problem , but anyway in terms of drivers:

If you don't install some drivers like audio drivers... sound won't work or if you don't install touchpad and keyboard drivers they may work or they won't work properly... So the answer is yes, do install all of the drivers.
