Computer only works on 4k tv

I've tried lowering resolution and then trying 2 different monitors with no luck what so ever, everything works fine on the 4k tv .
I've tried running it on dvi and hdmi, same issue.
Tried a system reformat and the problem persists.
Ps. I've checked the gpu seating and hdmi cables

Do the monitors say something like "no signal"? That is to say, you're sure they're actually on?
Did you try booting with one of them plugged in (and not the 4K tv)
Did you check the Display settings. You can do it by having both a monitor and the 4K tv plugged in and using it to navigate(On desktop, right click -> "Display settings" -> Go check that the monitor is recognized)

Oh and it's "Screen resolution" from the right click menu in win7, not "Display settings" as it's in win10

That's weird. And you're sure the connectors are properly inserted? (Don't forget to check the end that's connected to the monitor too )

Windows should be able to handle the change, but just in case, try connecting the 4K tv, going to display settings and choosing a low resolution. Then unplug that one and plug in one of the monitors.

So the problem was the video card, it was dieing , I tried a different video card and the problem went away, 3 months after its 2 year warranty. Time for a new gpu!
