How to use motherboard and gpu hdmi/vga output at the same time for multimonitor use?

hello everyone. I have a geforce gt 620 gpu on my windows 10 pc. i currently have my monitor hooked up to it with an HDMI cable. I would like to hook up another monitor to my motherboards VGA port. When i tried this it didnt display anything on the second monitor. How can i enable so that i can use both at the same time? Thanks!

Check inj BIOS and see if there's an option for multi-monitor. Enable it, if disabled.
