Mozilla Thunderbird not installing properly? Creating 5000+ folders.

I'm installing Thunderbird but am having issues. The progress bar is not increasing (it's stuck at about half way) but the total size of the installation keeps on increasing and is about 193,000,000 kb right now. So far 6512 folders have been created and this number is also constantly increasing.

Is this normal? How can I abort the installation?

Issue resolved itself. Just needed some time.

I just installed build 45.1.1 on my Windows 10 Home system and it created 19 folders in the C:\Program Files(x86) folder, that's all. Where are all these folders you're seeing? I do have 5320 TOTAL folders there, but 5301 of them are for other software, not Thunderbird.
