Intel I7-4930k vs I7-6700k

So which is better? I know 4930k has 6 cores, 3.5 GHZ(?) and a 6700k 4 core, 4 GHZ. Base clocks.

So let's say, exact same setup and conditions, GTX 1080 and these two CPU's, which one would perform better in; Gta V, Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, All on ultra?

6 cores is better for like rendering and stuff, but what about games?

i7 6700k should perform better in pretty much all tasks. The IPC gains from Ivy bridge to Skylake will be very high. The 4930k might be able to beat the 6700k in certain multi-threaded workloads. In gaming, it will be a no contest as the skylake cpu will do better.
