my psp7 won't open a jpg file in win10 how do i fix it?

how do I make jpg images open /w psp7 in win 10?

I don't know what psp7 is, but the Photos app is the default for opening JPG files, and it works just fine. I also have the Microsoft Photo Gallery application that you can download from MS if you don't have it.

PSP is Paint shop pro I can open a file but I have to go through a half dozen other clicks rather than PSP openining the file when I click on a file. I use this app to make changes to animations and other image files.

What you apparently want is to make PSP the DEFAULT application for opening .JPG files. For that go to Settings -> System -> Default Apps. Scroll down to the bottom and click Default apps by file type. Scroll down to .JPG. To the right you'll see the current default app, probably Photos in this case. Click on this app and you can get a list of programs you can make the default; click on one of these to change the default.

Tried this and no help, I have found an update to try and see if that will take care of the problem.
