There are a couple of different solutions when faced with a corrupt Bios. Some newer motherboards come with dual Bios which allow you to recover your PC when one is corrupted. Some older boards have a socket which allow the Bios chip to be easily replaced. Most however would require sending the board off and having the Bios chip replaced, which involves desoldering the chip from the board and replacing or reflashing it. For cheaper boards, this isn't worth it. Not sure if the motherboard in your laptop has dual Bios, it might require being sent back to the manufacturer.
