Car Sub Shopping

I have a 2001 BMW 3 series, I am looking to get a decent sub (not garbage, but no need for top of the line) I'm basically looking for a cleaner bass hit with some oomph but I'm in no way looking to shake the neighborhood, bass quality matters more than how hard it hits. Can anyone recommend a good combo or all the parts separately (which ever is cheapest) that would be much appreciated

Do you intend to install yourself or take somewhere? Do you have a top limit budget in mind?

Do you already have a quality stereo/CD/equalizer/etc?

I've replaced the head With a Pioneer DEH-X6700BT, It already came with the Harmon Kardon package. I'm going to try myself but if things go wrong I know somebody. I will not spend $300 or more but would like to keep under $200 if possible

Where do you intend to mount the sub? Just trying to understand your desires (others will ask as well).

In the trunk, the battery is there as well since it is a Bimmer
