How to get my display to 2560x1080????

Hi I know many have asked this question before but I can't seem to find the solution. So I have a Dell computer which only can only hook up Display Port, and my LG ultrawide monitor can only hook up HDMI.

Windows 8.1 Pro
Processor: Intel Xenon CPU E5-1603 v3 @ 2.80GHz
RAM: 8 GB
64 bit

Graphic Card: AMD FirePro

Monitor LG Ultrawide 29UM58
HDMI cable: E239426 AWM 20276
HDMI to DP adapter: JDA154

It might have to do with the HDMI to DP adapter, but does the graphic card AMD FirePro support 2560x1080?
