System specs:

Dell Inspiron 537

CPU: Pentium (R) Dual-Core E5200 @ 2.5GHz

Motherboard: Dell G41T-DM

RAM: 4GB Pacific Sun (800MHz) DDR2

Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series (512MB VRAM)

Power Supply: 250w

Trying to figure out what I should upgrade in order to get a decent boost in performance. Right now I am looking at upgrading the CPU to an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650. I have done some research already and checked if the CPU would be compatible with the motherboard. So far the Sockets seem to match up and I have already checked two sources to confirm if the CPU and motherboard would work together.

I thought that I would reach out to some people that may know more about this and get a second opinion on this. Along with this, is the question of whether I should actually upgrade the CPU or to upgrade the Graphics Card instead.
