A stuck pixel on my ASUS monitor

MONITOR: Asus VS248HR 24 inch

I bought this monitor 3 days ago and ever since yesterday, a green pixel has appeared that does not change when it is supposed to.

But here's the catch as the green pixel only appears when there is a lot of activity going on (e.g watching a video or playing games) and the only way I so far is able to get rid of it temporarily is by using a cotton bud and putting a bit of pressure on the stuck pixel.

However, 15 to 30 minutes later, it appears again! So my question is... how could I get rid of it, or should I just wait and hope that it sorts out itself?

I've already tried some of the software methods, but they were of no use.

If you just bought it, I'd RMA/return it. Stuck pixels are annoying and generally do not improve if flashing the test patterns, etc at it does not help.

Have you tried using a stuck pixel tool of your choice? They are available on youtube . I've heard some people having success in using. Try giving it a shot.
