Denied permissions to access folder

Hi I have just reinstalled my windows and had a backup of music on my second hardrive and now when I try to open the folder it says denied permsions and then tells me to use the security tab.

It then tells me to click advanced to continue and it tell me to 'click continue to attempt the operation with administrative permissions', which it tells me I do not have permission, so I have to change the current owner, as it says unable to display current owner, I click change and it gives me no direction on what to do, can anyone help me?
