hello, friends! i'm looking to upgrade my rig. it's served me well for the last five years, but i am ready for change.

here is my current build --
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K Unlocked Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.4GHZ Ivy Bridge 6MB Retail
GPU: MSI TWIN FROZR GeForce GTX 660 GAMING
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 SLI DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
PSU: Seasonic M12II 750W EPS12V 20/24PIN ATX Power Supply PFC 80+ Bronze Modular 8PIN PCI-E 120MM Fan
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1600 CL10 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive OEM
DVD Drive: Samsung SH-222BB 22X DVD Writer SATA Black OEM
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 ATX Steel Computer Case 3X5.25 6X3.5 3XUSB3.0 Audio and Mic Input - Black
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition 64BIT DVD SP1 OEM or the Home Edition
Monitor: LG 27MP37HQ-B 27" Monitor

i'm looking to upgrade my CPU, graphics card, and motherboard. i'm not sure if i need to upgrade my PSU as well? i'm also considering purchasing a solid state drive but it's not a huge priority for me right now. i live in canada, and my current budget is ~$700 - $800 CAD (after taxes, if possible, but no biggie if it's before taxes). i use my computer for mostly gaming (Overwatch, FFXIV, Skyrim, etc.) and some graphic design work. i'd prefer to buy locally so i'm looking to just shop from NCIX. hopefully i didn't miss anything.

thanks so much in advance!

I'm sorry but for that budget in CAD there's not much we can upgrade.. Thats a very nice computer and you cannot beat it for that budget. If you really need an upgrade the lowest I can manage to do is $1000-$1200.

The CPU is unbeatable for that price, but the graphics card we could get an upgrade for. If you want to just partially upgrade your computer by changing out some parts, we can get a new graphics card, that would help a bit.

oh sure, i'd be interested to see what your recommendations are even if it's out of my budget. i was looking to just partially upgrade my computer (cpu, mobo, and gpu) but i am open to other suggestions.

Nothing is overclockable, but they all work fine!
I'm sorry about that, I thought you wanted a completely new build! :p
