NEW i7 Processor i7 4790k or i7 6700k

Hello guys, currently i have
nvidia zotac gtx 970
i5-2400
and 21 inch 1080p monitor.

i want to buy new processor and confused between 2 processors which are i7 4790k and i7 6700k ?
i want to do gaming and designing on my system.
so, which processor is worth to buy ?
P.s i also want to be future proof as i will be upgrading my gpu in next 1-2 year.
for now my gtx 970 is going amazing.
just need an upgrade in CPU-PROCESSOR.
need help.

Hi,
You'd need a new board, as the CPUs are different LGA than the one of your board..
With i7 6700k you'd need new RAMs too (DDR4).
