Memory sticks post in sockets 1 or 3 but fail to post in sockets 2 or 4. Pc starts runs 4 or 5 seconds and shuts down repeats until I turn off pc. Have two of these motherboards same problem. Memory sticks G.SKILL Trident X Series 8GB 240-pin DDR3 2666 (pc3 21300) 4 sticks total of 32GB. Gigabyte site memory will work.

Sounds like a channel problem good possibility is your CPU cooler if it's a third party may be too tight in a corner or side, and throwing the CPU out of level so it doesn't get full contact with all pins, try loosening then snug down screw tight, don't overtighten. If no joy, would check your CPU socket for bent/broken pins

Using i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60 GHZ. No over clocking I know of. 64 Bit operating system. tried Intel Celeron CPU same thing.
If I use one stick at a time channel one PC posts. channel two will post. Channel three will not post and channel four will not post. channel A DDR3-2, DDR3-4 WILL NOT POST. CHANNEL B: DDR3-1,DDR3-3 WILL POST.
