2 days ago, my samsung monitor just completely stopped working. After I turned it off to go for a shower the usual blue power indicator which should be burning stopped burning. I checked the power cable to see if maybe it moved out of its socket, which it didn't. After a bit of twisting and turning of the plug within the socket, I noticed that from certain angles the blue power indicator would flash on for a split second. That's all it does.
Not sure if it's a monitor or power cable related issue, I don't have a secondary monitor to use this power cable on.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, what exactly did u do with the aluminum? I got the same problem and dont want to buy a new adapter in the first place.

I think Kirosaka had a bit of play where the power cord plugs into the back of the monitor & used metal shins to take up the loose space to prevent the cord from moving. I would use electrical tape to do the same thing & is safer too.
