Hello,
I bought this model (S24d590PL) the other day and I had an annoying problem with the source detection feature. I use the monitor for both my Playstation 4 and my PC and I put the monitor "source detection" setting to auto. The problem is when I turn off my PS4 it won't switch to my PC automatically. I have to change the input manually from the monitor. And this happens regardless what input I turn off whether it was the PS4 or the PC.
I connect the PS4 with HDMI to HDMI cable while the PC is connected with DVI to HDMI cable. Also I had an Asus Vx238h monitor connected with the same cables and it didn't have this problem.

Do I have a defect unit or am I missing something here?

I got a replacement new monitor same model and the technical report mentioned "A problem with function PCB faulty OSD." for the faulty one.
GUESS WHAT! the new monitor had the same problem. I'm really confused if this is a defect shipment or Samsung went to the past century technology with this model and promote a feature that does not exist.

Can anyone with the same monitor help me to make sure it is a defect unit?
