Any recommended W10 tools/utilities (including for specific issues)?

I may be managing the upgrade to W10 for several computers soon (mainly family) and I'm wondering if there are any recommended utilities to either sort out some issues or just speed up the process for me.

The first is a privacy tool to quickly disable allot of the privacy related issues with w10, I know several exist but I'm wondering if there are any recommended ones.

From this site, so far I've seen Spybot Anti-Beacon being recommended.

The second is for windows updates, I heard a while back about a piece of software which allows the user to manually manage updates but I can't find it again. Is anyone aware of something similar besides WSUS (which requires windows server)?

Also are there any other recommended tools/tweaks as well?

Thank you.

I would not run any special tools on the machines. I would just make sure to do things that prevent problems such as updating the bios and updating the motherboard device drivers. I would set up a cloud backup and proper accounts.

Blocking windows functions will just guarantee that features will not work as expected and you will have to do support.
