Have I been hacked? - Issue with Hotmail

I have been a user of hotmail since 1997 and have never once received the error message I have below. Tried to log in tonight using firefox, chrome, and edge, none worked all gave me the message:

"Something went wrong

You weren't able to sign in because the mailbox is being moved. You won't be able to access it until the move is complete. Please wait and try again later."

Has anyone encountered this? What does this mean? I have made no request to move my mailbox, and am Im accessing it on the web. have I been hacked? What has caused this?

Might be some server/data migration or maintenance, try again a bit later. If someone hacked your email to use for some malicious purpose you'd propably get a wrong password error, if they changed it, instead of something like this.
