Hey. I have about a $500 AUD budget give or take 50.
I am looking for a new monitor. I was going to get the Acer XG270HU 27 inch 1440p 144hz freesync monitor for arround $540 but they seemed to have just disapeared from shelves.
Then I saw the LG 29UM68-P 29 inch 2160 x 1080 60hz freesync monitor for just $440 and it looked like a good option. My graphics card Sapphire 280 so the ultrawide screen would be better suited then the 1440p montior, although I am looking to upgrade to a new GPU maybe when Vega is released.
I'll be playing games such as Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Battlefield 1, Little bit of CS:GO, Farcry 4 and a few easier to run games like Skyrim and Rocket league.
Any opinions would be very helpfull.
