I'm building a new PC atm and I was wondering if there was anyway that I could use my old retail copy of Windows 10 that is on my current ssd and move the whole ssd onto my new PC?

Solution
Actually, if you're using the same tech family (i5-3570 to i5-65xx whatever) - Make a backup anyway, then go ahead and put the drive in.
I've actually had little to no issues moving a test HD from AMD to Intel (with Win7), and after a reboot or two - all was well.

Never try that because it's going to cause more issues than it's worth. Simply move the SSD into the new PC and then reinstall Windows 10, don't try running the OS as is.
