Have AMD Black Edition FX-8300 8-Core Socket AM3-Plus 95W looking for a motherboard ad graphic card to go along with it price range is around 500 to spend already have a case power supply (750) and 3 1 tb harddrives

Up to a RX 480/GTX 1060 would be worth combining with a FX, any GPU with more power would usually be bottlenecked by the CPU. I would still consider replacing the CPU altogether for (much) better performance. Maybe something like this would be a good starting point:

I'll admit that's a nice set up but I'll prefer to stick with my AMD since am more of a AMD person
