DVI and VGA don't take signal and keep going to sleep when turned on computer

I encountered unexpected trouble this evening.
While I was type in email message in Outlook 10, my cursor was frozen. It wouldn't move at all. So I turned of the computer and rebooted. But DVI and VGA on the monitor wouldn't take any signals and going to sleep every time I attempted to to go to the beginning page. It just went to black screen. So, I couldn't open the beginning page.

My Computer : HP Pavilion P7-1010 PC
My Monitor: HP 2011X
Operating System: Window 10

Can anybody help me on this problem? I attempted many different way such as
power off and wait for 60 second and reconnected monitor etc...

cud be many scenarios here...
first of all the psu that comes with the unit is not a very gud one...it might not be generating enuf power anymore... http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02856262

secondly...have u attached any graphics card in the unit??? or r u connecting to ur igpu???
have u tried changing the cables???

next...can u check with another monitor???
