Hi all, first time poster here.

I've recently built a new rig, specs below.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k Skylake OC'd to 4.5GHZ water cooled with Corsair H100i
MOBO: MSI Z170A Gaming M7
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB
RAM: 32GB Hyper Fury X DDR4 2666MHZ
PSU: Corsair CX850M Bronze
Storage: Samsung EVO 500GB SSD
Monitor: Sony Bravia 49" 4K Ready TV

I've fired up The Witcher 3 and at 3840 x 2160, I'm averaging around 45fps, sometimes drops to 38fps dependant on what is happening in game, but I have had results up to and above 60fps, 62fps has been my highest.

The above results are with some graphical and post-processing settings turned down, and the "must get more" part of me inside hopes to turn these back up. Has anyone played around with the 1070? Does anyone think the 1070 is capable of a stable 60fps at 4K?

Many thanks in advance!

Sure, if you're not a graphics whore and always demand ultra settings on every games. Maybe medium settings will give you a better performance. I hate shadows and grass, that's why I always turn them down.

True, the above FPS results are with settings such as hairworks off, Foliage, Grasses at medium. I just haven't read about anyone getting stable 4k 60fps for this game.
