What should i get?

Thanks for reading and i apologize for the wall of text!

So im currently facing the dilemma of wether i should get a new 1ms 144hz monitor (up from a phillips 60hz) or if i should upgrade my Msi r9 270x to a Rx 480/Gtx1060.

I play some wow, some heroes of the storm and some rainbow six siege and my main goal with upgrading, is to get rid of as much input lag and screen tearing as possible. Im already getting good frames in all 3 games as in 120+ at most times and i dont want to use Vsync for the obvious reasons (input lag). So my question boils down to whether a new GPU or a new monitor will help me the most?

I hope some of you might have some insigts

it's obvious.
Get 144Hz monitor first.
May be even think about 1440p one.

If you go to 144 Hz, be prepared to never buy a 60 Hz monitor again. It's a one way road.

If thats true then i am definitely going for the monitor upgrade i was leaning towards the monitor but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply
