I have been finding that people go back and edit their questions, some of which have great answers, to contain text that is not helpful.

For Example:

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3130946/motherboard-standoff-problems.html

Does toms hardware have a policy or stance towards this kind of behavior? What should users do when they see this?

When we find threads like that, we generally delete or close them.
Like that one.

What should users do? Pop us an alert.

The 'policy' would fall under "Don't disrupt the flow of a thread"
