headphone volume too low! HELP

All sounds are maxed to 100%, enhancements don't help, no money for aplifiers or fancy sound boosters, why are my headphones not loud enough?! SO ANNOYING. Music keeps me sane, it's my coping mechanism for when stuff makes me wanna scream, I can't have low headphone volume!!

Uhhh..... I'm honestly not sure, my computer's a custom gaming rig a friend built, I've got my headphones plugged into the back, usually to the motherboard's inputs. My headphones are skullcandy headset, not sure what model
