Monitor only displays 1440x900, supposed to display 1920x1080

I really dont know whats the problem with this one, im pretty sure my gtx 750ti works fine, and my hdmi cable is new too, lines of green pixels show up in the middle of the screen when i go up further than the 1440x900. My monitor is an Asus VS228 if that even matters.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable ?

Im pretty sure my HDMI isnt the problem since i already changed it, it came with the monitor so its practically new.

I have tried a new HDMI cable but it just got worse with the green pixels.
