My computer boots only if the reset button is pressed

My computer boots only if the rest button is pressed. If the reset button is not pressed, a message is displayed as ' Checking signal". I need solution for this problem.

Are you sure you don't have RST and PWR backwards in your connections? It would certainly explain why you get a momentary connection to the monitor

Try flipping the power connections on the motherboard or look up YouTube tutorials on how to install it
