Solution
If you are willing to do some troubleshooting and being mostly on your own, the OSVR is a $400 developer headset that works not too terribly.

Upgrading to a VR Ready GPU is only $200, while a VR Headset is $800.. that's a HUGE difference.

*Even if I bought my entire system at once, it would only be about $700. WHy would I spend more on a headset than I did on my whole system?

If you want a budget VR , Get Playstation VR and PS4 Neo (to be released soon after 2 months)

The PS4 Neo will be 4.4 TFLOPS , Thats the same speed of GTX 1060 !

Budget VR should Go for PS4 and PS VR !!!

Well yeah but buying the system plus the VR would be.. not budget friendly. And I wouldn't imagine a headset that used a smartphone would be compatible with a PC.

*Wait, budget VR for PS4? How could it possibly play VR with its GPU?
