green dot on my led monitor

i have one stray green dot on my monitor ive plugged unplugged the DP cable and ive tried my xbox with an hdmi to see if it was my graphics card and the green dot was still there. ive tryed those flashing lights that are supose to free up the pixle and no dice.

Had a GL2460 Benq LED, saw the blue pixel, couldn't look away ( OCD ), had to sell it... Now I have to find a new monitor but I don't know if to get LED or LCD.
What you could try though is rubbing the screen with the tip of your finger nail, don't put too much pressure though. I had no luck with it, but maybe you will.
